Advocate Home DIY comes from Advocate Security in The Woodlands, Texas, led by Kolby Walston.
Kolby started installing alarm systems at 19 and has spent more than 20 years in the security industry since, including about two decades in security product management. He has seen what happens when homeowners buy DIY systems online and have no one local to call. Advocate Home DIY is his answer: the price and flexibility of DIY, backed by a security company that can actually show up.
